There's a musical movie of the 1920s that should experience a come-back in these times when autocrats/dictators/despots are on the rise, and I don't mean the 1920s stage play that was made into a movie in the 1940s (Gaslight). I do mean one whose music was written by Sigmund Romberg by the name of "New Moon". It's about a wrecked ship of the same name where the people thereon had to figure out how to live with each other beyond the reaches of civilization and laws.
