An extreme right-wing group of lawyers affiliated under the cross of the Catholic fundamentalists (Ordo Iuris, part of Agenda Europe) has submitted a very dangerous bill to the Polish Sejm that completely bans hormone therapy and transitions for people under the age of 18.

The bill will be read in the Sejm and many non-right-wing MPs consider it well-written and appropriate, so there's a possibility of them voting in favour of it.

Ordo Iuris wants to punish attempted transitions with up to 3 years in prison, which is incredibly dangerous for LGBT youth. They also want to revoke legal transitions under this law, as well.

I am asking you, people outside Poland, to publicise this issue to put pressure on the parliament. This is very important and we have some power to stop it.

I'll point out that, say, depression is a mental illness. And more than half of trans people have dealt with depression at one point or another, IIRC."
