The court in on hiatus today, so we have a breather to catch-up and summarize where we are in disgraced once-elected (kinda?), twice impeached, quintuply-indicted, 80-something-ily charged LOSER ex-prznit Stupid’s so-called hush money case.

These are the developments:
  • No ruling on whether hopping-mad, orange-tufted hate goblin violated his gag order: They spent the first 90 minutes arguing over whether Fat Nixon had violated the gag order (no really, they did!)
  • Judge Merchan said Trump’s lawyer Todd Blanche is ‘losing all credibility.’
  • Prosecutors revealed their strategy: Ok, this one is difficult to follow, but as far as I can tell, TFG lying on his business records is a misdemeanor, but lying on his business records as a cover-up for another crime is a felony. Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass said the statute in question is New York State Election Law 17-152 — conspiracy to promote or prevent an election.
  • Pecker went to great lengths (see what I did there?!) to help get Trump elected. Conspiracy?
Here’s what we learned from Pecker:
  • Vulgarmort’s 2016 Goat Rodeo campaign paid to make negative coverage go away.
  • As Vulgarmort’s fixer, Michael Cohen was deeply involved in these efforts.
  • Vulgarmore hisself —as a micro-manager— was deeply involved.
So what we see is a pattern of behavior; this pattern suggests that Stormy Daniels was paid for political reasons, and that Vulgarmort must have been involved in making that arrangement.
By giving over its cover to his political needs, Mr. Pecker gave him the equivalent of free advertising space at most major supermarket checkout lines in the country, where the tabloid had long ago secured prime placement.

One expert said at the time that such exposure could be worth as much as $3 million a month.

The NYTimes

What we learned from Sleepy Don:
“I’m catching up on my fucking sleep ’cause I’m bored.”

Some color:

And over at Fox News, Jesse Watters is losing his mind:

Watters: Trump needs exercise. He’s usually golfing and you’re going to put a man who’s almost 80 sitting in a room like this on his butt for all that time? It’s not healthy. He needs sunlight. He needs activity. It’s really cruel and unusual punishment pic.twitter.com/xT1RKZyIgc

And I think that’s it.
