Definitely antiquated turbine that could never deliver more than a few KW. 4-tank superheater section, at least, and that tank just off to the side of the turbine has gotta be the flash tank. β€
Retracting that bit about superheaters because this is too primitive to use those. Iβm thinking those are the boilerβs pre-heaters, and they're situated in front of one of the boiler's walls.
Could be but could also be a museum piece which details exactly how primitive power plants were laid out--while not saying that they were all alike. Each one had their own boilermakers while latter day power plants would subcontract with expert boiler and turbine makers. GE would do turbine replacements on Westinghouse systems and Babcock & Wilcox would be the go-to boilermakers nationwide. This was before that time so the construction details would be of historical interest.
