Nerdy information junkie at heart with a lifelong fear of being perceived as “ordinary.” I love life, beauty and all things weird and wonderful. Here are some things to know:

MUSIC: As a singer I love most kinds of music. I listen to 60’s-70’s roots and prog rock, blues, folk, classical, jazz, British folk rock, Celtic New Age and Renaissance rock. I am a huge Ritchie Blackmore (Rainbow and Blackmore's Night) and Jethro Tull fan. I also love Apocalyptica.

NERDY STUFF, SCI-FI & FANTASY: Doctor Who, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Dune or Asimov, I’m all over it. (Favorite movie of all time: “The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension”)

CATHOLIC STUFF: Direct Catholic-bashing is very hurtful. You do you, but if you say you oppose hate, please don't hate on people of faith.

VISUAL ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, ANTIQUES, VINTAGE: I collect Art Deco, vintage art pottery and jewelry, anything 1950’s-60’s, and vintage illustration art. I love all things visual - art, photographs, anything retro, creative or quirky.

WORDS, BOOKS, LITERARY STUFF: I was an English major (concentration in Milton and the 17th Century Metaphysical Poets) and taught freshman rhetoric, poetry, drama and fiction classes in grad school. I have written articles for blogs, magazines, newsletters and have had one book published and contributed to several collections.

THE FINE PRINT: All I want from anyone on social networks is friendship. Please don’t get flirty with me. If you are “hunting” you should know that I am NOT. I had the ultimate romantic relationship with an extraordinary man. He died. That is all.
