I would imagine anyone there would have looked up at the thing coming across the sky....

I remember at a young age, reading the estimates of how long fossil fuels would last until depleted, heat reflectivity of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and the never ending population growth. We passed 7 billion and it's beginning

we are ruining the planet with too many people....fewer people uses less fuel.

Not if those "fewer people" travel by private jets, launch hundred ton rockets into space and fuel endless wars for "fuel".

with about 2 billion people things will calm down....humans need to evolve a lot more
