@ButchH11 Dog and cat dander are similar — biologically different, but they get into the air the same way.

So these things should work, if you can get your brothers to try them.

If it were me, I'd volunteer to bring my air purifier with me and run it while I was there, if nothing else.

If they were willing to do anything, you could tell them that HEPA vacuuming the couches/rooms that you'll be in would help.

But I think the way out of it *requires* those individuals with enough access and spare spoons to try out life in that larger world, replete with its imperfections, and to write passionately about its implications for progressive politics.

We cannot let the intellectual, emotional, and policy-wonky heart of progressivism continue to be captured by a corporate view of technology that survives on continual expansion and consumption.

#Gardening bubble, I need some tips. I'm thinking about creating a #wildflower #meadow with native plants in this part of the garden. Can I have some suggestions on what to prepare before sowing? Do I need to dig up the whole area? cover the area with fresh earth or #compost?

It's a pretty dark area: eastern side of the house, under a large gingko tree. The roots are close to the surface, so breaking up the whole soil will not be easy.
