Green-headed coneflower with some Joe Pye weed behind it just in bud. I used to know a spot where these grew together by a pond along with cardinal flower and tall meadow rue, a beautiful spot. Laut dem Spiegel hat das Verkehrsministerium des Bundes nun bestätigt, dass Fahrradanhänger ohne eigenes Bremssystem zukünftig nur noch eine maximale Gesamtmasse von 50 kg haben dürfen.

Hierzu verweist das Ministerium auf eine wissenschaftliche Untersuchung. Da wurde wohl nicht nur ich hellhörig. Danke an die Person, die den Staat fragt! 👍

Ich sehe das kritisch, weil #Fahrradanhänger aktuell einfach zu konstruieren sind und bei Platzmangel auch sehr schnell zerlegbar sind.

Für viele ist ein Anhänger eine simple und günstige Alternative zum #Lastenrad. Mit Auflaufbremse wird alles komplexer und teurer.

Ja, bei 10km Abfahrt mit 15% werden können die Radbremsen überlastet werden. Aber wie realitätsnah ist das?

Klar bleibt ein gewisses Restrisiko, aber in der Praxis passiert trotzdem fast nie was.

Rein physikalisch ist mit Auflaufbremse wohl sicherer als ohne. Aber rein physikalisch ist Tempo 130 auch sicherer und ökonomischer als 200. Trotzdem haben wir immer noch kein Tempolimit 🤷‍♂️

Wusstest du, dass die max. Beschleunigung in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln 1m/s² beträgt. Sowohl beim Beschlrunigen als auch bei der Notbremsung.
Das darf nicht überschritten werden.

Wenn nun im Fahrzeuginneren eine Rampe mit 10% Neigung vorhanden ist, und du stehst drauf, hat allein die horizontale Komponente deiner Gewichtskraft eine Beschleunigung durch die Schiefe Ebene 0.98m/s² also ~1m/s² wenn du einfach nur drauf ruhig stehst...und trotzdem gibts diese Rampen, obwohl die zulässige Längsbeschleunigung schon im Ruhezustand knapp erreicht wird...

over here in NZ the self checkouts have been limited to 15 items or fewer for years, so it’s no surprise that people with 20 or so items head to the self checkout while if you have more than 15-20 items you head to to the cashier. The changes aren’t reflecting customer preferences, they are reflecting conditioned behaviours bought about by the supermarkets own rules.

It's ironic that when the author mentions Trump's rise to TV popularity in the age of Tony Soprano and Vic Mackey I can't help but be reminded that both those shows actively repulsed me. To this day, I have never seen a full episode of The Apprentice because Trump's bombast was not something I wanted to sit through for however long those episodes ran.
