Her grey and brown head is facing forward to the right, shining black eye over the white cheek with distinctive black stripes down her face. A backlit Wilson's Snipe moves through some shallow water, surrounded by bare reeds, as it searches through the mud with its long beak. The small bird is striped across its head and back, stretching from its large dark eye to its tail tip, with a white chest and underbelly over its yellow legs. The sunlight glistens in the background with the ice covered water.
