Ich glaube, das ist ein bisschen von dem Stück/Film "Der Brandner Kaspar und das ewig' Leben" inspiriert, wo es den bayrischen Himmel gibt.

Den mag ich auch. Wenn es Lokalkolorit ist, habe ich kein Problem mit dem Dialekt.

Pumuckl hat mich als Kind nur genervt. Ich habe damals zwei Folgen gesehen und fand das grottenschlecht.

Beim Münchener im Himmel ist nur die Schlussbemerkung wichtig. Alles andere ist nur eine normale Karikatur des Tagesgeschäftes von Politik.

Here’s the brutal truth about all those startup CEOs and Founders: most of them are failures.

Start-ups only have a survivability rate of 5%. Which means that the vast majority of startups fail. And no matter how many times these startup CEOs try to spin a yarn about winning, they are statistically likely to be losing.

I’m not taking joy in anyone’s failure, I’m just acknowledging a fact. So every time someone projects success, don’t believe them until you look at the books.

Geothermal electricity production has been getting good press this year and that's great, but let's keep it in perspective shall we.

I hope that geothermal electricity can break out from its niche role in the locations with high near-surface temps. It's still a blip in terms of clean energy production.

I worked in the field prior to leaving the Ivory Tower. It's human nature to tout the technology that you work most closely so take big predictions with a grain of salt.

In two days we go to a rented beach house with our whole family to celebrate Christmas and my wife's birthday. Tonight we were invited to a dinner party with two other couples, and I just had a bad feeling about it – the last thing I want is to have COVID sneak into our group and ruin this trip, so I came up with an excuse.

Lo, today one of those friends woke up with a bad sore throat and so is canceling as well. He's hoping it's not strep; I'm hoping it's not COVID. Either way, I feel vindicated.
