After Thursday's vote, Musk reacted favorably to a post that said the reason Democrats keep saying "President" Elon Musk was to "drive a wedge" between him and Trump.

Charlie Sykes, a political commentator and the author of "How the Right Lost Its Mind," wrote that Musk had committed two cardinal sins: "upstaging" Trump and being responsible for an "embarrassing defeat."

i really enjoy your work and to be clear it enables me to visit structures and locations i very much would visit were life more of a voluntary proposition. visiting abandoned or/and condemned buildings was a real fascination for me as a kid

having said all that there's a real conflict in me liking the images you post. such a tension taking pleasure in the vicarious peeps into times and places left to rot

@oscarjiminy I feel the same conflicts. I can't say I've resolved them. I enjoy abandoned places but in a healthy society they wouldn't exist, not like they do in our world. They're a sign of social rot. But I also can't stop that, I can just witness it, honor the memory of what we've lost, and share it for others to do the same. There are different ways to enjoy things, I think. It's not like watching a great movie. It's more an enjoyment borne of appreciating lost things before they're gone

Cyclone Chido was an “intense tropical cyclone”, equivalent to a category 4 hurricane in the Atlantic. It made landfall in Mayotte, a small island lying to the north-west of Madagascar on December 14, generating wind gusts approaching 155mph (250km/hr). You want the fat just above 100°C.
