I’m generally fine with weird events in the #Olympics, but I genuinely don’t understand why horse dancing is one of them.

1. It’s basically just a dog show for horses and we don’t have Olympic dog shows
2. Like horse racing, the horse should be getting the medal
3. I can’t even tell if they’re doing a good job
4. I really don’t enjoy watching rich assholes prance around in their riding clothes

I did and it was different. Parts of it were amazing and beautiful Ms Dion was stunning. I liked the idea of using the Seine river but it caused the ceremony to drag mostly and the entertainers were so spread out it looked a little thin. All in all though a well done celebration of France which is what the opening ceremonies have become, a highlight of the hosts.

Das #Deutschlandticket funktioniert so nicht und wird nie zu mehr #ÖPNV beitragen. Wir brauchen eine 2% Mobilitätsabgabe auf jedes Einkommen ab 1200€ und dafür freie Fahrt für freie Bürger. Das gilt dann für strikte Radfahrer genauso wie für Autofetischisten und wenn Herr Vorstand mtl. 1000€ für den Bus bezahlt, den er gar nicht benutzen will - Pech. Dafür können dann auch mal Arme an die See.

Pēteris, this looks like Apple Maps. I'm curious what does it use on Android though, Google has gotten really annoying with its maps in the recent years. You used to be able to just plop a MapView into your app and it'd Just Work™, then they started requiring an API key, but then they started requiring enabling billing, with a real card with real money on it, in order to get the API key, even though the use of Google Maps on Android is still free and unlimited. For now.

@nicksherman Yes! Also it will be editable from the web/official app and we’ll have an API for this so you can programmatically access your geojson data and public ones too!

One of my goals is to make it easy to mass assign locations to posts so you can easily organize them, with an added privacy visibility option to limit who you share it with, allowing you to keep the location data private and only visible to you on specific posts!

Parlons un peu Jeux Olympiques et militance.

On sait déjà tous les problèmes liés aux JO et spécifiquement ceux de cette édition-ci.
On vous voit râler depuis hier parce que brusquement, plein de monde dans vos fils et à proximité ont commenté la cérémonie d'ouverture de manière diverse et variée.

Je veux juste dire sans pointer personne : est-ce qu'on peut lâcher trois heures sa casquette militante pour apprécier ce qui peut l'être sans imiter les réacs d'en face qui n'en finissent pas de pleurer à toute la wokerie de ce spectacle ?

On sait que c'était de la poudre aux yeux, et pétain à ce prix là, ÇA POUVAIT ÊTRE DE LA BONNE POUDRE AUX YEUX.

Pour ma part, je retourne à mon attitude de base : ne pas m'intéresser aux diffusions des JO.
