My cousin told my Uncle today about Biden stepping down from the race and Kamala Harris being the presumptive nominee. This man, an 85 year old centrist retired clergyman in the last days of his life, began to weep with happiness/relief and pumped his fist up. It was an incredible touching and hopeful moment for all of us.

So if the story of the recent election was tactical voting, now that the dust has settled it seems the Greens (who may well have benefitted from some element of tactical voting to get their increase to four MPs) are taking a harsh stance on the local party that sought to apply the strategy to unseating Jeremey Hunt... which was not achieved (although his majority was greatly reduced).

This was not how we expected tactical voting to play out....

I think they would look a bit silly [UN] when the main bully in the conflict [Isr] is being supported by unlimited and superior arms by the main superpower [US]. Uptil now the blue UN flag offered no protection at all, more like a target.
The only way out seems to me that, a cease fire is proclaimed, US stops delivering weapons of any sort and Netanyahu is ousted by the Israeli people. Until then everybody else is powerless, I'm afraid.
