My wife, @DoorbellQueen , starts most meals at restaurants by asking me if I'd like to see a dessert menu so we can decide whether or not to "save space." We split everything.

Often, when we order two different entrees, when they are served, we just take half of what's on each of our plates and put it on the other person's. We usually do this without even talking about it. If others are at the table with us, they usually appear sickened by how sweet we are.

We love that, btw.
