As others have said, community isn't family.

Honestly, a lot of what kept a lot of extended families together in the past was economic necessity. People needed a group to depend on and the family unit was the initial group to do so. You'd forgive a lot of what your family members did as family cohesion was more economically important than morality.

Some people will say this is only a product of capitalism, but this is also a communist issue as well. If the economy can provide for everyone, then the economic need for the family is removed. In contrast, familial ties in capitalist structures are usually when everyone is very poor and no one has the means to sever familial ties.

Anyone who says Linux is difficult to use, annoying, or requires a lot of user time and input to work needs to watch the latest video from @snazzyq.

Just seeing the amount of pop-ups, updates, issues, and hoops you need to jump through to use a new Windows PC is insane (granted, some issues in the video are because it’s an ARM PC, but most of the annoying interactions aren’t dependent on that).

As Quinn says, it’s likely faster to install Arch than to setup a new Windows PC…

having perfected my own OOBE offline setup dance I agree. I think the most egregious thing is launching Edge for the first time. You have to dodge sign in prompts and data-collection opt-ins like Neo in the Matrix.

Good question, we have no big plans to bond given Skye’s intense medical needs, although if eventually they can share a space at times that would be lovely. If they bond Skye would also lose free range status, and she is a long distance hopper that triggers her gut movement.

At the present, her new friend has given her much new life and joy, and it’s been so good for both independent buns to have each other nearby, particularly when Dad is so very ill (at CVICU now actually). ❤️

lululemon摇身一变成为中产自由派人士喜欢的牌子这件事真的很令我震惊。我第一次认识这个牌子远远早于它在中国火起来，是当时一个Gay porn star的伴侣因为在这家公司遭受的不公正对待+美国对同性婚姻移民的歧视性政策自杀，一周后这个porn star自己也自杀了。他叫Wilfried Knight，是法国人，他的伴侣Jeremy Enriquez是美国人，此前他们一直在美国生活，由于Knight的法国身份，他无法通过美国的同性婚姻获得永久居留权（此前拿的是学生签证）。尽管当时美国很多地方认可同性婚姻的合法性，但只是针对美国公民的，移民在这项事务上的权益得不到任何保障。在法国，必须双方都是法国身份才可以。他们深深相爱，不愿意放弃这段感情，所以选择了去加拿大生活。加拿大当时的政策是，同性伴侣中必须有一人是加拿大身份才能获得居留权。他们两个都是外国身份，所以只能在加拿大合法结婚，但暂时还不能获得永久居留权。
Enriquez在加拿大找到了在Lululemon的工作。这家公司的企业氛围非常toxic，员工被要求采用节食+vegan的diet，连牛奶都不能喝！还要每天做瑜伽，要参加培训承认自己只是机器的零件，都是必须加入才能融入才算合群的隐形强制行为。这家公司过分介入了员工的私人生活和个人想法。他不喜欢这种强制，所以反抗，接着被针对，被霸凌，被辞退，还得不到应有的赔偿（同样情况下，异性恋家庭获得的赔偿明显比他们多）。最后的结局就是Enriquez先自杀，Knight接着自杀。
