It would be better if China's deployment of record levels of renewable energy capacity were put into context on why they're doing it.

They've not done anything towards lowering their emissions because they just keep increasing the amount of energy they're using to build three quarters of all the consumer products purchased on the planet.

Sure they're building massive solar farms, but they also imported the most coal than ever last month too.
