Instead, build for anyone not on the Fediverse. Solve their problems first.

This would be a truly awesome thing to have in any RPG campaign where you need to weed out the folks who are getting a bit weird about gender roles or identities. (I assume your DM or equivalent has already yeeted the ones who are unpleasantly overt about it.) Like, for instance, the only stuff that will defend against that Level 60-Something Nasty about to eat the town is that Hello Kitty shield plus some frilly nightie lingering in the back of a dusty shop behind the tavern.

"I won't be caught dead in that thing!" Ok, fine, you can be caught dead *without* it instead.

I totally prefer Peertube over YouTube - especially so since version 7 earlier this week. The main challenge is the content, but that will become less of an issue the coming years as YT will continue shitting the bed.

I never, ever tried Tiktok. Might be a generational thing - as I do notice it being popular for younger generations. Thus I am not in a position to even compare Loops - but I am excited for yet another federated alternative for whatever silo the new kids are using.

@douglasvb Assuming a flat horizon, on winter solstice you have to be about 50 miles north of the Arctic Circle to have no sun. Conversely at summer solstice, the sun remains above the horizon for 24 hours to about 50 miles south of the Arctic Circle.

Гм, схоже мій вірутальний хостинг забанив IFTTT, через котрий я постю світлини великих котячих. Для більшості сервісів це вирішив тим, що тепер передаю посилання на файл, що знаходиться на Flickr, а не на його копію, що у мене.

З Bluesky складніше, бо я полінився та з IFTTT слав вебхук собі ж, тепер треба не слати вебхук, а прости локально викликати метод постингу в Bluesky.

Ще баг у IFTTT, я роблю два запити в Buffer для публікації в Instagram і Threads, але оскількки ім'я аккаунту однакове, то в IFTTT воно виглядає однаково та при збереженні з мобільного обидва запити перемкнулися на Threads.

Схоже у них баг на мобільних, що при збережені ігнорується ID та просто назва береться, а коли вона однакова, то все виходе однакове.

So this was something I've never seen before in such scale.
All those specks were moving across the sky for at least 30 seconds after I started looking out the window.
I'm guessing it was starlings (🤷‍♀️). A whole lotta starlings.
Glad they were pretty far off in the distance. Could be messy.
