Winter Solstice is here, and apparently the Chinese who hail from Southern China will eat this dessert with glutinous rice balls but in Northern China it is dumplings.

Mum made some but I have to decline as I am watching my sugar, and since my relatives are here and she really wants to give it to them I have asked her to do so. But dang it this is my fav dessert. The things you do for health 😢

Where to you keep your half-clean clothing?

I'm trying to to find the balance between having an anti-clutter space for a clearer head versus not being wasteful about over washing things like button shirts or jeans which don't get used for a large portion of my day.

I used to throw them over my computer chair but I recently moved my computer out of my bedroom.

I think the best option is to hang them up in the closet so they can air out a little more than back in a drawer.

I just put things back in my closet. Eventually I'm too lazy to do that and throw it in the laundry bin. I live in a mostly cold climate though where I don't sweat excessively. I have the same routine in the summer but end up wearing things once, maybe twice depending on how much I've sweat

I think we focus on wealth inequality lately because we're all on the same page about income inequality, and also because a common argument against income inequality is that "but their income isn't that huge, they just have investments." Wealth inequality deals with that ackchyuallity.

A actually haven't been back to Reddit, but that sounds about right.

A good chunk of NIMBYism falls under there too. Middle-class Karen doesn't want cheap apartments or a homeless shelter anywhere near her, but has no better suggestions. If she wins and you're one of the people who needs that, it leaves you in a weird Kafkaesque limbo where you're told you have rights, but you're not really allowed to exist.

in the second quarter, the top 20 per cent of Canadians held more than two-thirds of the country's wealth, averaging $3.4 million per household. By comparison, the bottom 40 per cent of Canadians accounted for only 2.8 per cent of Canada's wealth.

I'd love to see that broken down further. I'm guessing there's a bunch of really rich households at the top that skew the average.

You can always find a smaller and vastly wealthier subset, right until you're down to the single digits of people.

There's no dividing line like some people imagine, though; it's a continuous distribution that we're all somewhere (lower) on. Probably because it's produced by a random walk.

It's a good thought, but I'd take that bet with you. Houses can be remortgaged, or alternately converted to a rental while you get a second place. I suspect any bump is pretty small because people just continue to accumulate if they can.

Tyhle plány jsou pro USA(pro EU jsem to tu někde dával, ale nemůžu to teď najít) takové:

Aktuálně Evropa vyrobí těch granátů víc než USA.

Co se týče obrněnců, jsme schopni UA tím zaplavit(ale rozhodli jsme se, že ne 🙄). Horší situace je se střelami a raketami. Tam je elasticita výroby daleko menší. Ale i tam se zvyšuje.

No los justifico, pero creo que es más por falta de conocimiento, falta de interés y realmente no interesarse y/o informarese correctamente.
Posiblemente, desde la Izquierda falte informar y poner la información al alcance de quién no sabe demasiado del tema.

Enkele honderden aanhangers van radicaal-rechts marcheren zaterdagavond door het centrum van Maagdenburg, meldt het persbureau dpa.

Volgens het blad Bild gaat het om een groep van ongeveer vijfhonderd deelnemers en zijn sommigen van hen gemaskerd en agressief. Ze scanderen onder meer dat ze de Duitse steden en dorpen "moeten terugveroveren" en roepen woorden als "deportatie".

Maagdenburg werd vrijdagavond getroffen door een aanval op de kerstmarkt. Die werd uitgevoerd door een 50-jarige man afkomstig uit Saoedi-Arabië. De verdachte lijkt zelf juist aanhanger te zijn van de radicaalrechtse partij Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), berichtten Duitse media eerder. Ook volgens de minister van Binnenlandse Zaken, Nancy Faeser, is de man een islamofoob.

De mars van radicaal-rechts vond plaats vlak voor in de Dom van Maagdenburg een herdenkingsdienst van start ging. Daar staan inwoners stil bij de vijf dodelijke slachtoffers, onder wie een 9-jarig kind, en de meer dan tweehonderd gewonden. Bij de dienst zijn ook bondspresident Frank-Walter Steinmeier, bondskanselier Olaf Scholz en deelstaatpremier van Saksen-Anhalt Reiner Haseloff aanwezig. (ANP)
