I’ve noticed that there have been a million pieces lamenting how people celebrating the murder of a CEO show we’ve become barbarians but I haven’t seen one extolling Brian Thompson’s virtues.

Nothing about his philanthropy or coaching his kid’s team or whatever.

Seems like he was nothing more than the cutthroat CEO of a particularly evil company.

He must have been a huge prick if they couldn’t come up with some kind of gauzy profile to make him a proper martyr.

He imprisoned right now by Ivanishvili by kremlin order. It is revenge for reforms done by him and his team. All these reforms were steps away from ruzzia and steps towards Europe, EU and NATO membership.

It’s 2 years today since I learned I have breast cancer. I had no signs or symptoms, but a routine screening mammogram showed changes. Further tests revealed I had an aggressive cancer, but early detection meant it hadn’t spread yet. I had surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy (plus my fair share of complications!). As far as can be told, I am currently free of cancer.

Please, if you are eligible have a mammogram. It might save your life - it did in my case!

Cheap/free lumber season. Check your local Christmas tree lot, esp. at major retailers. Three years ago, I bought the lumber -- the remains of a Christmas Tree display made out of 4x6's and 2x4's -- for $100, and built an entire shed from scratch and had so much wood left over I gave the rest to a friend for free. It required 4 hours with a power drill to remove all the screws in the wood in parking lot (and multiple trips), but it was well worth the effort. You may just find they are going to throw the whole thing in the waste bin out back, talk to the manager. #bargain #tips #scavenging #lumber #diy
