On Thursday, low pressure over the Middle Mississippi/Ohio Valleys will
move eastward to the Mid-Atlantic before moving off the East Coast
overnight Friday. The system will produce light to moderate snow, with
locally higher amounts over parts of the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley region
through late Friday night. Additionally, a northeast wind will create
moderate to heavy lake-enhanced snow over parts of the northeastern coast
of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan overnight Thursday into Friday. The
storm has prompted Winter Weather Warnings and Advisories over parts of
the Upper Midwest.

Overnight Thursday, light to moderate snow will develop over parts of the
Northeast, extending into Saturday. By Friday afternoon, light snow will
develop over parts of the Central Appalachians, becoming light to moderate
overnight Friday into Saturday. In the wake of the storm, temperatures
will be 10 to 15 degrees below average from the Great Lakes and
Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley eastward to the coast. Moreover,
