I STRONGLY URGE EVERYBODY to consider using this app, and at the very least, read the plain English manual so you see what it is.

I believe that #America's initial sin isn't slavery, it's unregulated #Capitalism and insatiable #Greed. That's the drug #Oligarchs are hooked on and they culturally pass it on to their next of kin and closest partners. It's a path to hell for most and heaven for a few.

Those who are winning at Capitalism justify their success the way Vikings did as they destroyed Old Europe or the way Genghis Khan did as he savaged the continents of Europe and Asia.

Sure you're "winning" but you ain't right.

I've used #GIMP since about 1999-2000 and never noticed the #Transparency slider. I'm a #Newbie despite decades of experience.

I was just working on a new tasteful spin on my Mastodon Server's favicon and couldn't find a way to make a layer/color become semi-transparent but my #Ignorance sense was tingling. In the past I would have built it in #LibreOffice Draw.
